THE POSITION

To promote the Mpac Lambert vision and values by efficiently and effectively delivering recruitment into the business, which includes employee experience from Attraction, Hire, Onboarding, Engagement, through to supporting line managers with personal development plans and the identification of training needs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Develop and execute recruitment plans
• Network through industry contacts, recruitment partners (agencies), association memberships, trade groups, social media (i.e. LinkedIn), and employees
• Develop and track goals for the recruiting and hiring process
• Coordinate and implement Graduate Traineeship/ apprenticeships recruiting initiatives by engaging with schools, colleges, and Universities.
• Handle administrative duties and recordkeeping. Ensure GDPR compliant.
• Collect data on cost per hire and time-to-hire
• Screen applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
• Work with hiring managers to create job descriptions and develop appropriate recruitment assessment processes.
• Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
• Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
• Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
• Work with line managers to review succession mapping and talent development in their departments and cross functionally.
• Support managers with the documentation of Personal Development Plans, validation of training needs and identification of training providers.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Sound knowledge of UK employment law
• Experience of advising, supporting and coaching managers on the recruitment cycle.
• Achieved or working towards CIPD Qualified or equivalent
• Good IT skills, particularly MS Office/ LinkedIn
• Ability to work autonomously

• Ability to manage multiple shifting priorities, demands and timelines simultaneously.
• Diplomatic, tactful and able to deal with difficult situations
• Excellent communication, networking, administrative and organization skills
